This honey has a bittersweet taste and crystallises quickly (2-4 months). It contains arbutin – a blood purifying substance which regulates cholesterol levels. Contains natural antibiotic substances to a greater extent than other honeys, occurring in a protective covering on the body from various diseases.
Contains a polysaccharide that increases cell viability. Contains an enzyme or amylase that breaks down starch.
