Mountain tea, otherwise known as ironwort, Lebanese sage.
It grows in the high altitudes of the mountains. This makes it free from pollution. Ironwort has many health-promoting properties.
Mount Athos mountain tea is considered a cure-all in winter. Its action against upper respiratory conditions is immediate and very beneficial, and studies have shown that it has a positive effect on various conditions.
The bio ironwort is cut into pieces, ready to brew. The tea is packaged in bio resealable packaging.

Properties of Ironwort:
Has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Works well as a supportive agent for bronchitis, sinusitis.
Reduces feelings of fatigue, exhaustion.
Has a positive effect on immunity; when used with flu and colds, it shortens the period of infection.
It contains antioxidants which help fight free radicals responsible for, among other things, the ageing of the body.
In addition, tea is a great source of minerals such as iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium, sodium, flavonoids, tannins, copper.
It is often used to soothe irritations and discomforts of the digestive and urinary tract.
The following are suggested recipes using mountain tea:
Winter tea recipe:
Pour water into a pot. Add about 5-7 sprigs of ironwort per half litre of water. Boil. Add two cloves, a stick of cinnamon, a smaller sliced orange. Once cooled (50-60 degrees), add honey to taste.
Summer tea recipe:
Put 5-7 sprigs of ironwort into a jug. Pour boiling water over half of the jug. Then add cold water. Add a few sprigs of fresh mint. Sweeten to taste with carob syrup.
